We have this lovely Group of Freshly Calved and Incalf Heifers available in the UK . The heifers have just started calving in the last week and the group will be all calve from October until the end of November. Production & Feeding This group are from a predominantly grazing herd. They are being fully housed at the moment and their diet is made up of 40% silage and 60% Maize silage and they are looking in great shape. The herd figures are exceptional and are achieving 8,200 litres 4.7% Fat and 3.65% Protein. Vaccinations & herd health The herd has been vaccinated for BVD, Lepto and IBR. Johnes cases are low and they have strict policies in place. The herd is TB free and have been recently tested. This group is from a well established herd. They have bred a very fertile cow with the use of Irish sires and occasionally crossing with Holstein when needed. This group will be perfect for anyone looking for Winter milk. Can be delivered direct to your farm.
