Farm Delights Ltd – COVID-19 Safety Procedures
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Collection Centres Nationwide
To ensure the safety of our farmers, staff, and livestock, Farm Delights Ltd has implemented the following strict COVID-19 guidelines at all collection centres:
- Pre-Booking Required – Farmers must call our designated contact number to book in their calves after receiving the collection centre schedule via text. Each farmer will be given an individual time slot (with 5-minute intervals) to ensure a steady, controlled flow of arrivals. Do not arrive earlier than your allocated time.
- No Booking, No Entry – Farmers who have not pre-booked will be asked to leave immediately.
- Remain in Your Vehicle – Farmers must stay inside their vehicles at all times—no exceptions.
- Mandatory PPE – All farmers must wear gloves and a face mask while at the collection centre.
- Price Negotiation – Prices will be discussed through the vehicle window to maintain social distancing.
- One Person Per Vehicle – Only one person is permitted per vehicle. In line with HSE guidelines, individuals over 70 years of age are not permitted to attend.
- Safe Unloading Process – Farmers will back into the truck, and our designated staff will unload the calves and load them onto our transport.
- Immediate Departure – Once unloading is complete, farmers must leave the centre immediately to prevent congestion.
